I’m an ‘almost-retired’ lecturer. I’ve drifted  through various academic disciplines. Presently in management, where I have had the opportunity to explore the issues around ‘Globalisation’. My desire to unpack these issues also comes from a few decades of working in local politics,  among other things.  I suppose a commitment to equality  was also why I was attracted to Quakers. Being among Quakers is great because I don’t need the discredited ‘S’ word  here to talk about the things that matter. I’m still optimistic about achieving the just society that most people want to see.
