You might be interested in my new book, Small Change, Big Deal: Money as if people mattered (Business Books, John Hunt Publishing), based on 12 years as a microcredit practitioner.

In our current financial mess it is worth reminding ourselves that money is about relationship: between individuals and between communities. This book explores some community-based financial models, explains the power of microcredit, and gives a worm’s eye view of small-scale work in several countries.  Small and local is still beautiful and has much to teach us.
