8. The centrally managed work of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in Britain

Introduction

Participation of staff in meetings of the Britain Yearly Meeting Trustees

8.07

Members of the Management Meeting (8.21) and other staff attending meetings of the Britain Yearly Meeting Trustees are not trustees of the centrally managed work and are not responsible for the decisions of the meeting. They are present in order to be able to provide the meeting with information about their work, and in order for them to be able to interpret and carry out the Trustees' decisions more effectively. Friends' understanding of the Quaker business method is that God may speak through anyone present.
