I have found the experience of being at YMG to be pretty exhausting so far, following on from a busy week at work etc, travelling to York, getting exceedingly lost on the campus, driving round in circles on arrival, and now lots of walking – sounds like I am not having a good time – I am having a brilliant time – I am just tired !!! We have just had the talk on The Spirit Level by Richard Wilkinson – a book I had previously read, on the nature of the inequalities in society and how we could do better for all if we were more equal. If you are reading this from elsewhere or missed it here at York, I could elaborate. Off now for a quiet coffee before the walk back up the hill.
